Yuta Nakayama is currently working as a Design Engineer at the Design Incubation Centre’s R&D department developing design prototypes and converting design concepts into actual working pro¬totypes. He is also involved in the development of new design concepts and providing technological consultancy for the design and research team.
He has been working in the area of User Interface, Interaction Design and Media Arts, and specializ¬es in the development of working prototypes including mechanical designs, electrical circuit design, and embedded software development etc.
This is a responsive aromatic-diffuser that reacts by a sensor to the movement around it. The tectonic concrete base supplies heat onto drops of aromatic oil placed on its curved top, releasing aromatic vapors into the air to levitate through the stereotomic red, green and blue neon colors and to softly touch your senses.
