Hans Tan is a designer and an educator based in Singapore. He deploys design as medium, making use of utility as a pretext to comment on design and its industry as a phenomenon. Cast upside down without a mould, these tables use gravity and the surface tension of resin to form the top surface, where each colour puddle is individually poured. The curing time of the resin is controlled so that each colour do not mix with the adjacent one to generate the multi-coloured puddles in endless combinations.
